|About this Job:||
Volunteer Toronto is Canada’s largest volunteer centre with over 40 years of experience connecting volunteers to the organizations that need them.
Our services empower local volunteers to find opportunities that make a positive difference in their community. Through in-person and online training, we also educate and help non-profit organizations and community groups run successful volunteer programs.
We have 16 permanent and contract staff members and an annual operating budget of $1 million.
We’re looking for a motivated, creative professional to join our team to lead the coordination of how we engage and work with our network of non-profits. You’ll be the main contact for over 650 non-profits that subscribe to our service, from local theatres to international development charities to youth advocacy organizations. As we’re hoping to engage more non-profits in the future, you’ll be a key part of our growth strategy, working to build relationships and raise our profile in the non-profit community. You’ll be a self-starter, have an entrepreneurial spirit, and possess the people skills to engage a diverse range of non-profits and community partners.
You’ll be joining a vibrant team of ambitious and passionate staff. We pride ourselves on our fun, inclusive and friendly working environment. We care about our employees’ well-being and are offering 2 weeks’ paid vacation as part of this contract.
